Another Walk Home From Etobicoke

This time it was night time for most of it and I took the street route instead of the waterfront. Taking photos at night is hard, but it was also cold and I was impatient so I didn't really try any new settings or anything. Why is it so cold? It's March. It shouldn't snow in Toronto, in March.

Cakes from a bakery on Lakeshore West (I think) I took a lot more, and there were some cooler looking cakes, but the reflection in the window was tough to get around. I wish I could decorate cakes like this.

The rest are just random photos of the Longbranch Go Station and some statues and things.

The City

A few photos of walking home from Forest Hill down Spadina. I kind of failed at the 7 photos 7 days thing, but since I actually took and posted more than 7within that time frame, I think the project served it's purpose in a way. I'm looking forward to it getting warmer. The strike is over. The timing sucks because it's one week left of classes and now there is a bunch of unexpected work that needs to be finished. They picked the worst time to go on strike and the worst time to end it. At this point it would have been better if they stayed on strike.

Throwback Thursday

This is back when I was tiny, and made terrible hair choices. Now I am older, legally allowed to vote, and still make terrible hair choices (Why can't bangs just work for me? just once?). My niece is now a pre-teen and, sadly, no longer fits into her little bobble hat and matching sweater.

7 days, 7 Photos (Day 4)

This is going to be two photos again. It's raining, I can do what I want. Also I think these two photos offer a juxtaposition between misery and optimism. It may be raining, cold, and miserable outside, but there is a remedy for that.

Photo One: Misery

Photo Two: Remedy (aka, the happy little tea owls)
